Our Team Got Good Grades in Feibao Cup

Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in partnership withFirst Aircraft Design Institute of China Aviation Industry Group, jointly organized the 11th "Feibao" Cup Aerospace Knowledge Invitationalon 24 and 25, March 2012 which was held in Nanjing. The event invited six participatingteams, including universities such as Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Representing Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics was three students Yang Changpeng, Zhao Ya and Qing Zexu led by instructor Tian Luoyin.

On the 24th, under the guidance of the teachers and studentsfrom the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the Shanghai Jiao Tong University team had the privilege of visitingNanjing Aerospace and Astronautics museum as well as some KeyStateLaboratories which was a very rewarding experience.

On the morning of the 25th, the 11th "Feibao" Cup Aerospace Knowledge Invitational officially kicked off.  The Competition was divided into 4 chapters, "Rapid Rollout", "Taking off", "Big in Sky", "Ultimate Confrontation". Comprehensive aerospace knowledge and overall co-ordination of each team are tested. Activeparticipation, quick response,intense debate and harmony are encouraged among the three players of each team, Shanghai Jiao Tong University with itsrich aerospace heritage, won rounds of applause of the audience from throughout the contest.

After nearly three hours of fierce competition, our team from Shanghai Jiao Tong Universitytook a 20-point advantage over Zhejiang University team winning the second prize of the tournament, awarded the "Best Organization Award" from China Aviation Industry Group Aircraft Design and Research Institute.
