Academician of Russian Academy of Sciences Mikhail Pogosyan visits SAA

On the morning of May 26th of 2015, Mikhail Pogosyan, the Academician of Russian Academy of Sciences visited the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics (SAA), and gave an academic lecture. Vice Dean Liu Hong, Director of Department of Aircraft Design Wang Fuxin attended. The meeting was hosted by the Vice Dean in charge of international affairs, Zhan Xingqun.

Mikhail Pogosyan delivered a lecture about Innovative Development of Aviation, and mainly demonstrated an overview and discussed the development tendency of Russian civil aviation. Afterwards, he had an active interaction with SAA teachers and students.

Vice President Huang Zhen met Mikhail Pogosyan in Administration Building A on the Minhang Campus. They had a frank discussion about training talents in the field of aerospace. Both parties reached a consensus on promoting student exchange. The Chairman of the SAA Board, Cheng Jiaojie, also accompanied.
