The leaders of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics visited the Russian students of the double degree program of SJTU-MAI

Russian students from SJTU's double master's program and double bachelor's program who have been prevented from coming to China to study since 2020 due to the epidemic have been arriving in Shanghai in batches since September. On the afternoon of November 17, in order to know more about the living conditions of students' accommodation and to address the needs of students, Party Secretary Hu Shiqiang, Executive Vice President Wu Shufan and Vice President Zhan Xingqun came to the international student apartment to visit the Russian students of the double degree program of SJTU-MAI Mohang in Shanghai.

Firstly, the group visited the Class of 2020 and 2021 undergraduates. The school gave each student a notebook to encourage them to study hard and take an active part in sports activities, so as to add luster to the school and enrich their study abroad life.

Later, they visited the 2020 and 2022 master program students at the Nanyang Beiyuan Apartment and talked with the students in the meeting room of the apartment. The students introduced their school life, especially they have participated in the dragon boat rowing and canoeing competitions. At the same time, they are applying for the school sports meeting, and are planning to set up the Sino-Russian football team and basketball team together with their Chinese classmates. They said they like Shanghai, the campus and the dorms very much.
