The 2024 Summer Camp of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics ended successfully

  From July 4 to 7, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics held the 2024 Summer Camp for Talents. In the early stage, the event attracted many college students from all over the country to sign up, and after the preliminary review of the faculties, nearly 100 students from major universities finally participated in this summer camp.

  In order to guide the students to integrate as soon as possible, the college held the summer camp opening ceremony and camper meeting on the morning of July 4.

  Lu Bei, vice president of the Academy of Aerospace and Aerospace, encouraged the students to pay attention to the major needs of the country and devote themselves to the cause of serving the country in space and space. Pu Li, Assistant President and Director of Human Resources Department of COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute, introduced the relevant situation of Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute and encouraged the students to combine their own advantages to devote themselves to the large aircraft business. Through professional teacher reports, students further advanced the construction of various departments and centers, as well as special school-running projects.

  On the afternoon of July 4th, the college organized summer campers to visit COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute. During the visit, the students watched the documentary on the development history of COMAC and gained a deeper understanding of the history of China's civil aviation development.

  On July 5th, the college organized summer campers to visit Qian Xuesen Library. In 1929, Qian Xuesen was admitted to Jiaotong University with the third place in the entrance examination. Since then, SJTU has left a generation of "learning gods" from the youth years to the road of aerospace service to the country.

  In addition to the colorful activities, campers also participated in written tests and interviews organized by the college. The interview experts will comprehensively assess the students' theoretical foundation, professional skills, scientific research potential, innovation potential and other aspects.
