SJTU Aeronautics and Astronautics Graduates Commencement 2024

On March 29, 2024, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University held its graduate commencement ceremony. The event took place in the Aerospace Building Auditorium, marking the graduation of the class of 2024.

Vice Dean Lu Bei congratulated the graduates and thanked the faculty for their contributions. She encouraged the students to continue learning and innovating in their future endeavors.

Teachers Zhao Haitao and Fan Yin, representing the faculty, spoke about the importance of responsibility and the pursuit of excellence. Graduate representatives Pang Yanshuai and Zheng Biaojian reflected on their experiences and the support they received during their studies.

Vice Deans Zhan Xingqun and Lu Bei presented degree certificates to the graduates. Executive Vice Dean Hu Shiqiang urged the class to persevere, lead in their fields, and dream big.

Graduate representatives Pang Yanshuai and Zheng Biaojian addressed their peers, with Pang highlighting the theme of "responsibility" throughout his time at SJTU and Zheng sharing his academic journey and the impact of his mentor's teachings. Both called for their classmates to uphold the university's motto of "gratitude and dedication" and to contribute to the country's aerospace industry.

Executive Vice Dean Hu Shiqiang encouraged the graduates to approach their careers with determination, confidence, and ambition.

The ceremony also honored the "Class Councilors" of 2023 and the outstanding graduates of 2024 from both the municipal and university levels. The event concluded with a performance of the university's anthem, signifying the shared hope for the graduates to take on significant roles in advancing China's aerospace capabilities and contributing to the nation's development.
